All clients are required to complete a medical questionnaire and intake form prior to treatment.
Whilst hypnosis is very safe, if you are epileptic or undergoing psychiatric treatment, a letter of referral from your G.P to confirm that he/she is happy for you to undergo therapy will be required prior to treatment.
Neil Pickering Hypnotherapy reserves the right to refuse to treatment for any reason.
Rapport and trust between therapist and client is a prerequisite in the process and essential in achieving a successful outcome. If this is not achieved, therapy may not commence or may be stopped.
I require 24 hours notice of cancellation. Failure to comply may result in a cancellation fee of £50.
Where a payment has been made for treatment in advance, such payment may be retained if the appointment is cancelled by the client.
I offer no guarantees with Hypnosis. Hypnosis is not a "magic bullet". In common with other therapies it, and therefore I, cannot and do not offer a 100% success rate, or guarantee success. I will, however, work to the best of my ability to help you achieve your goals.
Hypnotherapy is a two way process. I require a client to work with me and follow my instructions implicitly. Each client is unique and is treated as such. Clients differ greatly in their response to hypnosis. It is a learned skill. Therefore each client may achieve a different level of success in attaining their goal.
If a returning client for stop smoking (smoking cessation) treatment fails to keep their appointment for the free back up session, Neil Pickering Hypnotherapy reserves the right to refuse treatment.
If further treatment is then scheduled a charge will ensue.
